Where is the outrage....
Where are the angry people storming the banks across the country...

Why are people so blaise about the massive bailouts and now the huge new bonuses...

Oh yea, that's right, the people are up in arms about Obama taking away their freedoms...

Is there anyone out there who thinks for one minute that the furor over Obama is isn't designed to deflect the rabid right from looking at where the problem really lies, with the socialists occupying Wall Street and Big Industry...

Privatize the benefits, socialize the costs...

This is where the real problem lies...

This is where the energy should be channeled...

The right is so worked up over Gay Marriage and evolution that they can't see that the country is falling down around them...

2. Reality TV and internet porn have neutered 75%+ of us.
It is a sad state of affairs I cry about sometimes.

3. I'm far too old and infirm to really hit the streets...
And you do raise a great point...

4. Even a blind, deaf and really dumb right winger can see our country is falling down around THEM.
Edited on Tue Jan-12-10 11:33 PM by Double T
The PROBLEM is the right winger (and I'm starting to believe the left winger and even the centrist) don't have a conscience nor do THEY care if our country collapses and falls into ruin. Voter apathy extends to REVOLUTIONARY apathy. I have enough outrage for a small army and I'd be glad to spread it around.

5. There is enough outrage for ...
the bankers, stock brokerages, greedy corporation, callus health insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies and all the others who violate our right to a basic existence. There is also enough outrage for all government officials who enable them both in the Bush administration and this administration.

Did you deliberately not mention that the money came from both Bush and Obama or did you just forget? Fat cats take money from the government. They don't come up with it all by themselves. If you feel strongly about taking to the streets maybe you should organize a demonstration and see if you can get news coverage. I'm waiting until the Democratic primaries to address the situation and express my own outrage.

6. Nothing like bread and circuses to keep the people diverted.
Or by telling them what they should be afraid of.

Well said.

7. Without the word ANTI in front of anything, there is NO money in it for the Repukes
because the mouthbreathers who make up their base will give their kids college funds up to prevent a Gay person from marrying someone they love and will take food off the table to donate to make sure every baby is born, no matter if they die of starvation later in life, because it's God's will.

Sheeple, the whole reason they are they and we are we.

8. The RW doesn't care if the nation is falling down, and that is, I think, a function...
Of their insatiable personal, destructive vindictive-ness in their sole effort to simply gain power by hook by crook hood/wink pig/poke *at all costs*!! They care less for America. Were that to be otherwise, their deeds would justify themselves. I see a push coming their way, however. And it is starting as a measured outrage meant to crack through their lying, bombastic smirks. And *that* has already started with the final tear-down of Sarah Palin...

It will be an easy sidle over to the likes of their Coo-Coo White Queen Monica Crowley

9. It really is all about power and what they can do to enrich themselves
and their supporters.

Now this isn't to say that there are no morally corrupt democrats, but all in all, I would say the majority of Republicans strive for power not to do anything but to preserve their way of life...
