Fox News (Shepard Smith) Rebukes Pat Robertson on Haiti

Flipping around a bit ago and caught Shepard Smith on Fox News doing a number on Pat Robertson. He actually showed the video where Robertson describes Haiti's "deal with the devil" to be liberated from France.

Smith noted how much help is needed in Haiti, and how much this kind of stuff is not needed.

Stunning. But credit, where credit is due.

1. Didn't Smith get angry at the bushies about Katrina as well?

If memory serves, I think he was saying something like "We need help down here!" and got angry about some of the stupid things which were said in the aftermath.

He does not belong on Fox and I would bet that if the economy were better, he'd be looking for a job somewhere else.

Perhaps it would be after dying from a flesh eating virus in the middle of a crowded street while begging for help from passersby who refuse to assist his rotting near corpse. Purely speculation on my part.

14. IF SHEP LEFT, I'd never watch Fox again.

I began watching Fox because Shep Smith and geraldo rivera's coverage of my hometown during Katrina was the best. They were both early feet on the ground and compassionate.

If Shep leaves Fox I'll not watch it again save for a now & then check to see how crazy they get. Shep is a decent human being.
