He looks dreadful and he's judging the "Miss America Pageant" tonight. Wonder if someone will tell him. :D So far a fluff show about Hillary's "Evil Men" joke and that's already old news. Maybe David Schuster will have more on Libby later.

Edit to Add: Tweety now comparing Hillary to Diana and talking about the huge outpouring for "women who have been abused." The panel is taking Hillary's Abuse by Bill VERY SERIOUSLY. I guess this is a "repositioning" for the vulnerable Hillary who is like Princess Di.

BTW: At first I thought he was ill...but if you look closely it's that someone pencilled his eybrows a little to darkly. He's in Vegas and maybe MSNBC couldn't use their regular make up person so he got stuck with whoever was available. And, it was put on a little crooked ..that's how I could tell it was pencil and the wrong color for him.

22. I missed that...I changed over to CNN...and didn't see the drool

and that's sad. Is it possible he doesn't have diabetes but was in for Alcohol Rehab? There was some buzz in dark corners of the internet about that. He's never actually come out and talked about diabetes which would seem odd given he could do alot to help find a cure. And...many of us have observed over the years that he seems drunk some nights with that one eye that sort of closes and slurring of speech.

My brother has diabetes and is on dialysis...and he doesn't slur his speech or have a drooping eye..and that's what made me kind of think there was "something else" going on with Tweety.

Now, if he was having a hypo-glycemic event and was not making any sense, and was in dire need of a glucose tab to bring his blood sugar up, then PERHAPS a little spittle would form in the corner of his mouth, BUT NOT THAT (what is depicted in the picture above).

60. If he does he was not on MSNBC while he was in Hospital and it was reported as

Diabetes. So either it was "lied about" (since it was covered over by MSNBC and only a Media Insider paper reported it) or he was out and was getting "Testing Done."

If MSNBC brought back a sick man then it shows that the Media gets no better medical care than the rest of us...which is slip shod...depending on where one lives, the medical insurance, and the availability of a Top Notch Hospital or Diagnostic Facility to do the tests and have a physician who will prescribe treatment.

I don't think Tweety hurts given that his family is from Philly where there are good hosptials and his health insurance is through NBC/GE (GE being one of the biggest owners of all our Med Testing Equipment. :shrug:

Seems to me this thread here on DU gave EVERY benefit to his "condition." Whatever his REAL CONDITION IS. And, as I said "Upthread" I have a brother who is on kidney dialysis because of Diabetes and he's in really bad shape ...but he doesn't "drool, or look like Matthews." So, that's why I question.... I have my only brother really SICK with Diabetes...and Matthews doesn't seem to be "typical" for Type II that's so bad that my brother is on dialysis. :shrug: Does TYPE I affect folks like this in later life?

If you've ever been around a TV set, you'd know that the on-air personnel are all heavily made up. To see some sports guy made up to look like a china doll is a bit disconcerting, but it looks natural when broadcast. Maybe Tweety's makeup is from the Miss America show and not Hardball or vs.

72. I viewed the video of Matthews yesterday when he spoke with Schuster.

It is not photoshopped, that was real. I couldn't believe that; but what was more sad is the fact that Matthews didn't bother to wipe off the saliva dribbling from his mouth as it happened when he was speaking. I would think most people would do that. Did he not realize what was happening?
