Here's the deal. Why spend energy hurting each other when life can be hard enough as it is?
Why be scared of others who might have some difference than yourself? Why attack and fight others over limited resources? Why harm the earth out of greed?

Life can be hard enough as it is, in so many ways, why does anyone need to look beyond that, work beyond that, hurt others or any of that beyond that?

It is beyond me.

1. While these are times that are very trying. It is important to remember that
collective we do not have to live with this greed. There is enough to go around.

3. The answer my friend is very easy, when your life is screwed up because
of the people you voted for, it's far easier to blame someone else then it is to admit your part in what went wrong. The other side does it all the time, it was not * economics that caused the current mess, it was the evil democrats in 2006 that caused everything because poor people bought houses they couldn't afford. The evil democrats forced banks into giving poor people without jobs home loans.

Never mind facts like the housing bubble or how the banks sold loans which meant rates that were affordable sky rocketed or even the fact that a lot of people had jobs when they bought the house but due to * tax cuts the business closed doors and moved to China. Nope the real fault was poor ( republicanese=black )were given forced loans from the innocent bankers. When you point this stuff out to these folks, they jam their fingers in their ears and repeat everything Rush or Beck said about it.

Same as when some lose their jobs, they can be the biggest screw up in the business yet when fired it was a minority that took their job. But notice one thing about these folks thinking to start with, since when did being hire mean you owned the job? It's always easy to blame another for everything you see as wrong, the hard part is taking responsibility and some never will.

4. I think it is pop music
it drives people over the edge

plus the fact that children don't have 'off' switches and flies cannot figure out how to just fly out of a half open window.

Finally, when I think of the number of years, God's little gift of sunshine is gonna have to carry in her memory, the savagery of this idiotic moment of Bernard's, I just go BERSERK!

6. All of us are wealthy compared to most in Haiti - is it hurtful for us to live like they don't exist
Edited on Thu Jan-14-10 08:36 AM by stray cat
is neglect not hurtful. Its like us saying to others "let them eat cake" Also, if someone wants something you have or wants you to live a certain way or wants to kill you to make a statement - do you respond to their desire to hurt you or turn the other cheek?
