Why does Oprah continue to give Sarah Palin a platform?

Sarah Palin will be on Oprah for the second time this Friday talking about her new Fox gig..I suppose more softball questions legitimizing the vacuous Palin - Oprah as a humanitarian would do more in my eyes of holding a telethon with her celebs friends to help raise money for people of Haiti, than giving a megaphone to this demagogue..this really disgusts me

bestseller list ( number 1 last week, number 2 this week), because she is an ex- vice presidential candidate, because she is a controversial figure and popular with a certain segment of Americans, because she just got hired on Fox News, and because Oprah
doesn't work for the DNC therefore she isn't required to have people only popular with Democrats.
