They trotted out the hapless Today show crowd, plus Williams for hourly updates last night on Countdown and TRMS.
I have to say, as soon as I saw them in their usual Today show tableau I changed the channel until it was all clear.
All we need is the simpering, wimpering what's her name from Today in the midst of all this horror - and what the heck is the weather clown doing there??
