Is the whole MSM's pushing the "Scott Brown winning in MA" a massive head-fake?

I know the media likes a good horse race, but I'm wondering if this whole thing media push, with MSNBC in particular, is designed to keep Dems at home on election day by making Brown look like his win is inevitable. At the same time, it is an attempted takedown of health care reform and that's reason enough for them to put such a big effort into this meme right there. Plus payback from people who always hated Ted Kennedy and want his legacy dismantled...

Lots of good reasons for this kind of "attack," disguised as political reporting...

I kinda doubt that. I've seen so many howling monkeys from hell attacking every Dem they can get their claws into over the past year that I'm convinced there is a conspiracy that is saying "Dems can do nothing right."

If the media was really so against Dems, and if they made a difference in elections, then Obama would not be President now based on their Wow factor with Palin. They were trying to make Palin out to be some kind of a pariah, when it's obvious to everyone that she is a joke.

I guess Martha Coakley isn't as exciting as a former centerfold though. Our media is so dumbed down it's ridiculous and I don't really think they will have much effect on the election unless it is to tick off Democrats enough to show up.

9. I don't believe it's that he is winning but that it's closer than it should be or neck and neck

which it may be. In any event it might be good so it will motivate Coakley's supporters to actually get out to vote since the enthusiasm gap is with the democrat--the GOP this year seem more enthused about voting.

She said that the poll numbers during the primaries were also "notoriously wrong".


Seems to me she's not too worried about it...

11. The right has ALWAYS had it in for Ted, and they would LOVE to get his seat in the Senate -

they would use it as a show piece to proclaim the GOP's rebound into power as voters reaction to Obama's "socialism".
Back in the old days they hated the Kennedys because they were Catholic, now they hate Obama because he is black. Not much change after all over the last 40 years or so.
