Has anyone else noticed their Federal withholding has gone up?

I guess the big tax cut Obama put into place with the Stimulus package has run out. Must have been good for the year only.. Mine went up nine dollars on my last check, I get paid every two weeks, so I guess it is about eighteen dollars a month. Bummer....:-(

Congress changed the witholding tables!

If you always get a refund on your Fed. return, change your witholding on a W4 to one more exemption. It's legal and will bring your witholding back down.

I am amazed that my Fellow.."Progressives" can...somehow convince themselves..that the 55% (As far as we KNOW) of EVERY Dollar that they Dutifully supply..goes to..DEATH and Destruction..period! The Defense Budget! Every MINUTE..of every HOUR..of every DAY..spent conducting 'Enhanced Interrogation'..is paid for..by..YOU! Again..sorry..but..what? Its TRUE! I mean Right? I have heard some amazing rationales to avoid this RESPONSIBILITY..really elaborate..almost conspiracy level..flow charts of the mind..to suggest that 'TAX Dollars' are NOT what is used for Torture and Predator Drone Attacks on Villages! Sadly..the truth is..the 70 People killed at a wedding..are partly YOUR responsibility! IF you pay for it! Period! You helped to pay for the PLANE..the BOMB..and the Pilot..and the Blackwater fools that put the 'Ordinance' on the plane that kills the innocent Woman and Children in some village..Just..FACT!

I am just amazed..again..by the incredibly simple method of avoiding this reality utilized by my fellow Progressives/Liberals/Democrats..that essentially..poking fun at the Tea Baggers..and that is fun...and essentially pointing out what lunatics they are...somehow..illiminates 'tax Protest' as..Viable! As long as you continue to PAY INCOME TAX..YOU ARE A 'SHAREHOLDER' In the Corporation!..There are even "Returns" on the Investment...and their 'Nature' should be pretty obvious by now...more akin to 'What Goes Around Comes Around.' than to.."Profitable". Dropping Bombs On Children and Torturing people..is..NOT a great investment in.."The Future" it is THAT..DIRECT! There is NO real "Question" about it..Only Denial! But..IF..a UNION STYLE..'Tax Protest'..with Leaders Like Ralph Nader..Cindy Sheehan...Jesse Jackson...Amy Goodman..GOT INVOLVED..and "Okay's" it for.."Liberals" to...."Also" conduct a 'Tax Protest'..well..with a List of 'Demands' for the "management"..including Moratoriums on the revolving Door..end the Wars For Oil/TAPI...Terminate the Surveillance State..etc..and..MAKE WALL STREET PAY FOR THEIR OWN MISTAKES! Well..if we HELD the Money...over their Heads..SHAZAM! The changes would be SO FAST..as to cause definite anxiety..admittedly..for..even they're salleries..are being financed..by..YOU!

So..if you have a TAX ISSUE..well..you might want to ask yourself..'Should I really be paying for ANY of this? Am I HAPPY with the 'Product' I am PAYING for? Or could a MUCH better Product..be made?' Let 'management know..you AREN'T going to FINANCE their GLOBAL..Robbery/Homicide..Any Longer..and Withold..a MINIMUM..of 50%..or..just..SLIP off the books!
