For those of you who are criticizing Obama asking Bush
to help, what do you parents do when you have a child that can get in the way when you have a job to do? You find something for that child to do that will keep him busy and out of the way...and maybe be a little useful at the same time.

3. PLUS
It puts him (Bush) and his (and rethuglican) Katrina failure back in the spotlight. So lets just take advantage of "Heckuva job Brownie" back in the news and bash the crap out of him and his enablers.

It's scary.....I think I beginning to think like Rove.....help...:scared:

7. Plus, we need to reach out to everyone to help.
Only accepting help from people who pass our political litmus test is crazy. I would ask Pat Robinson to help. He has millions of followers and the people of Haiti need help to stay alive. Who cares why he helps as long as it's effective!

8. It's brilliant.
It has the appearance of graciousness, yet it totally puts W on the spot. You know it's the last freaking thing he wants to do (Haiti? I'm goin' to Haiti?!?!?), but how can he say no without looking like a total dick? And once upon a time, W was extremely good at one thing: getting rich white assholes to give him money. Let's see if he can crawl out of that Texas-sized bottle of Black Jack long enough to hold a fundraiser or two.

9. This isn't about politics
And it's not an unusual event. It's actually a very good idea that was used during the Tsunami 5 years ago. Sending out former leaders from both sides of the aisle to represent the United States and, more importantly, drum up donations from their former constituents, shows the USA is united in helping Haiti.

11. I'm astonished that Cheney hasn't criticized Pres Obama in some stupid way over Haiti. Why isn't
Cheney putting out a statement about this horrible tragedy. He
can't wait to criticize, but nothing else. He cares about
nothing but himself.
