All I will say is that Rush Limbaugh and Pat Robertson have recently gained alot of ground in surpassing things that were said before.

However, I doubt that we have seen the end of it and I fully expect Bill O' Reilly to try to get ahead again by putting down a quake victim face to face or something similar.

I really wonder why people call this "conservatism". There is no coherent ideology to it that I could identify, other than being as cruel as possible.

5. I've been reading a few of the posts over in Freeperville...

the consensus seems to be that, government funds and resources shouldn't be used for relief aid, it should all be from private donations.

The lack of concern and compassion is stunning. Actually there is no acknowledgment of the earthquake with the exception of a thread

defending Rush's comments on it.

Then there are the ignorant posts like the following:

"Frankly the Haitian people can expect little in the way of free-will contributions from Democrats.
That's because to a Democrat Haiti is and has been a major source of new Republican voters in Florida."

I will never understand what makes these people the way they are.
