Look folks at this point I don't care who gathers the funds that will be needed. I know for some Bush is the devil, and he is... and there are plenty of good reasons (political that is) that Junior is doing this.

You really think that will help to change the opinion most of us have of Junior? But if he can help raise one dollar to help, I'll take it. As the saying goes, if the devil himself is the one offering water to a dying man...

And I hate it when people politicize disaster response and delivery.

Oh and trust me, after the first month, once actual reconstruction begins, there will be plenty of politics to play with ok.

Clinton's foundation is helping already, and we know he is going to do whatever he can to help.

As for _georgie, remember, he had to do community service after his cocaine bust back in the 70's (even if the record was later scrubbed).

Let's just call this "community service" for a small fraction of his crimes against humanity. I think President Obama did a wise thing in putting him to work at something worthwhile for a change.

An added bonus is that you can bet it chaps _georgie's hide something awful that his corrupt, privileged, WASP ass is being ordered around by a black man. It's not full justice by any means, but it is a drop or two in the bucket.
