Fox News' top shows - barely any mention of Haiti

Thanks to Media Matters for compiling this info.

Guess how much air time the three biggest talk shows on Fox News devoted to Haiti?

Sean Hannity devoted three minutes and eight seconds of his program. 3:08 out of a full hour. I'm guessing he had much more pressing issues to talk about?

Bill O'Reilly spent two minutes, fifty-six seconds of his program talking about Haiti.

And the current darling of the rabid right? Glenn Beck? Guess how much of his program he devoted to one of the worst tragedies of all time? In true Glenn Beck fashion, I'm going to build up the suspense for this one - it's just that shocking (if I had a blackboard, I'd use that!)

Glenn Beck, on his hour long program today, spent a whopping THIRTY SEVEN SECONDS on Haiti.

That right there should show you just where their priorities are.

1. Don't forget that they devoted so much more airtime to the friggin TEA PARTY PROTESTS
of all things...and Beck hosted coverage, IIRC.

Great professionalism right there! :sarcasm:

2. And how much airtime have they given that airhead Palin?
I'm guessing quite a bit more time.

3. Also, non-news that those idiotic shows are obsessed with
- Discredited stories about ACORN crimes
- Obama is a socialist! A communist! A Nazi! (labels also applied to other Democrats and progressives)
- Heavily disguised Republican candidate infomercials
- The Obama administration wants to kill individual rights and capitalism
- Health care reform is unhealthy!
- Politically correct government policies are taking away white Americans' civil rights
- Kevin Jennings plans on turning children into homosexual perverts
- Obama appoints crooks and Communists into his cabinet

Look over the Media Matters archives for these and more.

4. I was curious so I watched Greta Van Susteren last night rerun show & guess what......
She had the Ambassador for Haiti on and asked him the stupidest question over and over....."So you are OK with letting "us" take over your airport and take control of your country?" Say what? What kind of crap was that? I wish I knew who told her to ask that absurd question! It was like she was trying to get him to say something stupid. By the way Mr. Joseph replied very well to the stupidity!

5. Never fear.
Now that there's rioting and looting they won't be able to shut up about it.
The rioting and the looting, I mean. They'll report that and enjoy every second of it.
