2. I've been trying since yesterday. They are far and away the best

organization to donate to because they are THERE in Haiti, largely staffed by Haitian doctors and nurses. They've been in Haiti 20+ years, have very strong relations with Docs without Borders and all the rest.

3. shameless self-promotion because PIH is a HAITIAN organization

in almost every way. A man revered among aid workers, Paul Farmer, started PIH in Haiti. this is the org where your donations will have the most impact.
