Hell I've even seen many defend Stupak, Nelson and Baucus, just to get any HCR bill passed.
But if Coakley is gonna lose Teddy's seat she's a LOSER Democrat. I've seen people here tearing her to shreds. Why, because she might embarass Obama?? Or because one might have to take a good hard look at themselves for enabling the withering away of principles in the Democratic Platform, all in the name of some pie in the sky bi-partisanship?
What a bunch of yahoo, talk a lots, know nothings, some of you are on here.
How about just sticking to the principles of the party and making your elected officials represent those principles. If you could do that, there would be a hell of a lot less problems and a hell of a lot more progress. Stop blaming liberals for not wanting to vote for a corporatist policies. Hell, I know most here don't want corporatist policies, yet they are the loudest screamers and hollerers and yellers demanding you vote for and support the fuckers any way. I didn't hear a one of them saying we are going to tax your healthcare, we are going to mandate you buy private insurance with no public option. So who the hell are these Leaders afraid of? The answer is NO ONE. They are corporatist hacks. Out for the $$$$$ for themselves.
How about doing this a different way. STICK TO YOUR PRINCIPLES AND MAKE YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS DO THE SAME.
To blame Martha Coakley and make her the fall guy for the Leadership of the Democratic Party is wrong. She is not, it is our party leadership that has screwed us, not Martha Coakley. She was against healthcare reform until the party twisted her arm and she started sliding in the polls. This election is a referendum on healthcare, nothing else. So sit on that and just think about it, ok. You will see the same old playbook used time and time again throughout 2010. It's time to wake up to reality.
