Putting a republican, specifically Brown, in Ted's seat would be an absolute insult to all that Ted had done for the state of Massachusetts and the rest of the country. If you can't get behind Martha, then do it for Ted.

Anyone interested?

4. Once the layout is complete and the paper is ready for printing...
...it's too late. Ads have to be purchased ahead of time. Besides, anyone actually reading the Globe is going to vote for Coakley and against son-of-Palin anyway.

6. Mostly correct... but one correction
"anyone actually reading the Globe is going to vote for Coakley and against son-of-Palin anyway"
This isn't a race where the majority of adults are leaning against us... it's a race where people who normally vote "D" have no desire to show up... let alone support "our" candidate.

So yes, if it were possible, there are likely plenty of people reading that paper who COULD be swayed to show up and vote... given the right reasons.

I'm not so sure, however, that this would be the right way. I've got to say that his debate answer that "it isn't Kennedy's seat..." etc was VERY effective 9and got lots of free press).

7. Or this lesser known fact::
This is the statement that State Sen. Scott Brown released on Tuesday, Feb. 13, about the incident at King Philip High School:

As you can imagine, I have received and responded to hundreds of emails regarding the incident at King Philip High School last Thursday. I wanted to share a synopsis of the events at KP and what let up to them in order to clear up the extensive misinformation that is out there.

About tow weeks ago, a couple legislators and I received an e-mail from somebody calling us “miserable, vicious and vacuous” among other things because we voted to allow the marriage amendment to move forward to the voters. Later, we learned that the writer of this critical e-mail was a teacher at KP. I received a few calls from parents who mentioned that the teacher was misrepresenting my position on this matter in the classroom. The parents were very concerned the teacher was pushing his personal agenda on their children.

9. Is that a serious question or rhetorical?
Even Dukakis won MA by almost double digits. Reagan is the only republican to have won the state (and then by only three points against Mondale and a couple thousand votes against Carter) since Eisenhower over five decades ago.

10. Passing a malignant mutation of health "reform" is an even worse insult to Ted.
