The right-wing propaganda machine is winning ...
Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Bill O'Reilly, FOX TV, and all of their supporting casts have generated a massive blitzkrieg against Barack Obama and the Democrats in power. They have little need to use any facts in their attacks. Propagandistic lies work best when they are big.

Democrats are encountering the first impact of this propaganda onslaught in the upcoming election in Massachusetts. They are on the verge of losing the seat that Ted Kennedy, the Lion of the Senate, held for almost 50 years. Healthcare reform could die with the results from this election. The right-wing propaganda machine is beginning to reap the rewards of their year-long cultivation.

1. You're correct
In the past the left was at least partially effective in keeping the RPM in check.

It just should.

5. Why not take away the tax deductibility for their lobbyists, all lobbyists
It's a federal subsidy for arch partisanship, if not flat out bribery.

6. They're absolutely winning the school privatization battle.
And the union-busting movement that it entails.

One NEVER hears or see anything "con" in M$M. And believe me... there's a lot of *CON*.

10. We allowed the takeover of the media and we felt having the facts on our side was enough
The right wing learned all about branding and messaging and we laughed thinking everyone would see our superior knowledge of the facts and see through them. Instead of learning from that and getting our messaging house in order, we continue to criticize our firebrands who have learned like Grayson. Instead of agreeing with the RW that he was out of line we should have sent our messengers out there to say, "He could have been more diplomatic but he makes a good point about the obstructionism of our Republican colleagues."

11. They always win... and will continue to win..
..because they set the agenda, issue the talking points and control all media.

The DEMS should have (long ago) pushed for the return of Fairness and a repeal of Multi-ownership laws.

The airwaves (frequencies) are PUBLIC PROPERTY, and should NEVER have been privatized and sold to the highest bidder.
