A happy ending for Reagan (dog story)
A 2-year-old rottweiler's romp around a Wards Creek neighborhood ended in an emergency trip to a local veterinary hospital after the dog somehow managed to ingest toxic amounts of marijuana.

Rogue River resident Erin Carter, 37, said her dog, Reagan, stumbled back to her boyfriend's home early Saturday evening, vomited and collapsed. Soon Reagan's tongue was hanging out, his eyes had rolled back in his head and his breathing and heart rate had become irregular.

"He looked like he was dying," said Carter. "It was horrible."

Carter's boyfriend, Bruce Reed, 38, who has a home on Wards Creek, said he was sure Reagan had gotten into some sort of deadly poison such as arsenic or cyanide while wandering the countryside.

"I've never seen a dog so sick," said Reed. "I looked at Reagan and there was just nothing in his eyes. I thought I would be digging a hole."

1. Hmmm...a dog named Reagan?
Kinda creepy, but I'm glad the dog's ok.

2. That's why I put "dog story" in the title
I didn't want the dog to be confused with a now-deceased politician.

4. Now-deceased?
The guy was deceased when he was Prez!

Makes me worry that the owners named the adog after that putz.

3. I'm glad the dog's okay too
but who would let a Rottweiler wander loose in their neighborhood? That's really irresponsible.
