One thing about Limbaugh--Ya know where he stands.

And it's invariably on the side of despicability. If he serves any function at all, he serves to sort the rest of us out into two fundamental groups: Those whom he sickens, and those who are beneath contempt.

1. I just sent the following letter to our local Limbaugh station

(in my best guise as a Conservative Christian):

Just to let you know that I won't be listening to KVI any more, and I will be contacting the advertisers to that effect.

I understand that you're in a tough position and are in a business to make profit, so I'm not expecting any changes.

But as I'm sure you're aware, Limbaugh's Haiti comments have been despicable and not true to compassionate Christian teachings. Today, when he referred to the military as being used as Meals on Wheels, I'd had enough.

As many of the other hosts on the station seem to parrot, albeit less explosively, Limbaugh, I'm choosing to remove KVI from my listening lineup to save myself from listening to more hateful barrages.

I assumed he was on the same station as Hannity and Laura Ingraham. Received a response setting me straight "Rush Limbaugh hasn't been on our station since 2003". :blush:

I wrote back a note thanking him and apologizing profusely.

Thank God for cut and paste, I did send it off to where it belongs.
