Didn't his deity wipe out the entire population of the planet once, except for one family. And then there was Sodom and Gommorah. It kept one family that time, too, but Lot's wife disobeyed it's stupid rules, so it killed her, too, then send Lots daughters to screw him when he was drunk. What a deity! A zany laff riot, it is.
