Cape Cod Times, the Kennedy's hometown newspaper
which in many ways owes it's very existence to the Kennedy family and all that has transpired in the news from Hyannisport and the Kennedy family for many, many decades has stabbed the late Sen. Kennedy squarely in the back by endorsing Scott Brown for his former senate seat.

They may as well have gone down to Arlington National Cemetery and pissed on his grave.

Tonight I find no words to express my anger and ill feelings toward the corporate whores that publish that newspaper.

2. Oh wow, I
bet more than a few residents are furious as well!

Well, they'll just look like bigger assholes when Martha wins and they're sniffling on the wrong side of history.

9. Not as common in MA as you might think...
Coakley was endorsed by the Mass Police Association, the MA Chiefs of Police, and the MA Coalition of police.

10. The Cambridge Police are known for "acting stupidly." It's their payback against Obama.

Maybe he should have invited ALL of the Cambridge PD for a beer?

7. They endorsed Bush in 2004 = Not really surprised they would endorse Brown this year.
They only endorsed Obama because they could not stand Palin.

13. I've heard it's a pretty Republican enclave, so it makes sense.
Just because they may have liked Kennedy as a neighbor and friend doesn't mean they share his political views. Obviously they don't. Still kind of sad, though.

14. It must've changed significantly since I lived there
Oh, it was always a hair right of center, but more Nixon Republican than Reagan Republican.

The old editorial staff has probably been fired or retired.

Brown is a goddamned disaster. I have no love for Coakley, but if I still lived in Mass, I'd be voting against Brown.
