CHECK IN FOR: Why we NEED Coakley in that seat and NOT the Tea-Hater Brown:
Edited on Sun Jan-17-10 09:36 AM by RBInMaine
Mainly, because Brown is a right wing ultra-corporate Tea-Hater who will be another Re-PUKE rubber stamp for McConnell, DeMint, Inhofe, and his Tea-Hater base. This fucknut actually questioned whether Obama's parents were married at the time of his birth. He votes with Re-PUKES in Mass. 96% of the time and rallied with the Tea-Haters. He is against taxing Wall Street, and he doesn't provide health insurance to his own employees. He actually proposed a law to allow emergency room care providers to deny rape kits on religious grounds. PISS on HIM !

1. We here in MA need her more than the rest of the country.
This HCR bill is killing her! Why was she forced to flip on that????????????????? This race should not even be close! Martha may seem dull to some in other states but we've elected her before, we like her. She handily won the primary, we like her. She is our kind of gal.

I say to all: Its the bill, stupid!

I honestly didn't know about the flip on abortion. Sounds like what every other dem is doing anyway.

11. OK. This is what has been happening here in MA.
Edited on Sun Jan-17-10 11:08 AM by Little Star
Martha Coakley was doing just fine when she was against this bill. She had won her primary over Capuano 47% to his 28%? Capuano is a fine Dem but MA Dems chose Martha. We did have a low turn out in the primary. The anger at this administration was already out there and many stayed home. Right after her primary win, the Dem machine forced her to flip and support the health insurance bill. It has been down hill for her since then.

On the street here people want to kill this bill. Dems hate it, independents hate it. This race is a referendum on health care, period.

This race, even if its just close, is a wake-up call for anyone willing to hear. This is blue MA and it was Ted kennedy's seat.

3. I don't think it's anywhere near that simple
I don't think you'll see many liberals in blue states having the problems that Martha is.

7. I wish Coakly well, I just chose not to help or contribute in any way. She can have all the votes
she can drag in; but not with my help or support.

8. So you would prefer that Brown win?
Because those are the only choices we have at the moment.

15. The people of Mass need Martha because she is not Brown.
Not sure what the rest of your post about Obama had to do with anything.

Brown is a jackass and never should have even registered on the radar.

17. Because Brown says things like: “Be my little army. Be my young army of young people.’’
