And, as much as I like him (saw him speak in person in 2006 and he was incredible... :woohoo:), we all know that he has a dark side...

3. I saw him in Denver when he was campaigning (1992?)
It was awesome, the outdoor theater in the park was PACKED.They confiscated my buddies sign though because it was on a stick. That was kind of weird.

5. I saw him in my small red district town in 2006,
When he came here (Glens Falls, NY) to campaign for Kirsten Gillibrand, in her first run for Congress (NY-20). He came to the local airport and it was SRO, despite the political climate here, and everyone was mesmerized, including me, LOL. He has "it," whatever that is, charisma, charm, and speaks so incredibly well. Needless to say, Gillibrand won, and it was against a long-time Republican incumbent who was said to "have the job for life," if he wanted it... My BF got to shake his hand and swore he'd never wash it... :D

BTW, we didn't have signs, though I picked up a couple of stickers... ;)

4. "Bill, which Third World country should I send their decent paying jobs too?"
"Bill, which Third World country should I bomb and invade next?"

6. The powerful are not like us.
They commiserate on who to bomb, disappear, assassinate, or torture. We talk about whether or not we can afford a baby sitter this weekend.
