22. No, it's a reaffirmation of support for
for their leader by the self-appointed self-righteous so-called progressives who are above cheerleading.

What were you thinking?

17. Amazing how any mention of DK brings out the bullies.
Just imagine for a second if the title of this OP was "Barack Obama", and someone responded "will never, ever, ever care about the middle class. Give up the pipe dream."

Now, how quickly would you be clicking the alert button? Hmm? My guess is we could measure it in milliseconds.

26. Ah, so now you're the arbiter of absolute truth, eh?
Even though neither claim can be conclusively proved.

OK, let's try one that's simple, hard fact: "BARACK OBAMA", "cut a secret deal with Pharma lobbyist Billy Tauzin after explicitly condemning him during the campaign and promising to "change the way the game is played."

So, since that's true, should we now follow every reference to BARACK OBAMA with that little reminder? How would you feel about that?

Barack Obama has done more to help the middle class than Dennis Kucinich ever has or ever will.

that don't get it now?

Yup.

No thanks to Dennis Kucinich, who sided with the Republicans and the insurance companies against it.

41. It "provides" nothing. It forces people to buy a product.
And even the modest subsidies and reforms will take 4 years to kick in. If the Pubs don't repeal them in the meantime.

to answer your question, no, I don't find it weird, it is not uncommon on DU to have that happen and not every OP needs to spell out the "issue". Having read your previous posts and OPs I understand why you find this weird though.
