NPR story, how sports/talk radio has been 100% supportive of brown in massachusetts

4 hours of pro-Brown talk on tap. All the usual bullshit, including "This is not JFK's party", "Scott's a good regular guy", "What a wonderful family". One of the guys even said "I don't agree with Hillary Clinton, but at least I know she is smarter than Martha Coakley".

I decided not to listen to any Boston sports radio this week due the horrible Pats performance last week. Not in the mood to hear Felger ballwashing the JETS or his favorite receiver Reevis while shitting on Moss for 4 hours

Most of the dudes on the local radio sports talk shows are right-wingers; unabashed ones at that. Heck, you should have heard how they ridiculed Obama and Hillary when they were running for President. Kind of worries me when people suggest that regulating political speech is a good idea.

(I suppose I should clarify that I mean political speech that isn't paid for. I know there are all sorts of laws for messages with money behind them. I just don't like the notion of the government telling people what they can and can't say in public. Not a good road to travel down, IMHO.)
