YouTube Down: Another Cyber Attack?

I've just been using YouTube and have been getting the same message when going to their homepage.

YouTube is currently experiencing some downtime issues, reporting a “Http/1.1 Service Unavailable” error or a a 500 Internal Server error. It’s been going on for approximately 20 minutes, and http://www.google.com/search?q=youtube+is+down&hl=en&safe=off&rls=com.microsoft:en-US&tbs=rltm:1&tbo=u&ei=nJVVS7euC5Po7AOjodTMDA&sa=X&oi=realtime_result_group_more_results_link&ct=title&resnum=5&ved=0CCQQ5QUwBA">Twitter is already abuzz about the downtime.

Currently there’s no word from Google about the issues, but given its http://mashable.com/2010/01/14/google-china-attack-anatomy/">recent troubles with Chinese hackers, it’s not too far fetched to think this downtime is a result of a cyber attack. We’ll let you know when we find out more.
