What did she nail?
The difference between how a Democratic Speaker of the House and a Republican Speaker of the House would handle the same question.
Pelosi takes time to discuss what would happen
"if Republican Scott Brown becomes a Senator from Massachusetts"Republicans, in their arrogance, would never entertain the question, would acknowledge no
"if," would say something like "We don't need to discuss it because we're going to win...Why even ASK such a ridiculous question?"
...even if they're NOT.
The fact that she's considering "a question about how we would proceed" signals weakness...like it or not.
I'm not suggesting that Speaker Pelosi sign up for GOP 101 lessons.
I just hate getting out of bed and seeing shit like this first thing in the morning. Prepare for defeat, and the thing you have prepared for will find you, and it will swallow you whole.

http://rawstory.com/2010/01/pelosi-brown-win-doesnt-health-care-bill/Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi appears to be undaunted by the special election in Massachusetts.
Speaking to reporters on Monday she suggested that even if Republican Scott Brown becomes a Senator from Massachusetts, it "doesn't mean we won't have a health care bill."
Instead, it would simply be "a question about how we would proceed," she explained, according to The San Francisco Chronicle.
