HAITI: help look for missing people using media photos

There's an effort underway to search for missing people (using photos submitted by relatives and friend) among the thousands of media photos. It's divided into three areas of work: images are first tagged to collect basic information, then the tagged photos are roughly classified and volunteers use the tags to try to match them to photos of the missing. Another category uses tags to classify photos of people so families can sort through them.

It's a long shot. But desperate times ask for desperate measures.

If you have time to help, please give it a try. The more people helping out in this effort, the higher the chances that someone may be able to give hope to anxious family members with missing people.
