A Brown victory would be a great chance for an "experiment" by Democrats
in Mass. Just think about it....

We see Dems in Red states (think Nelson, Landrieu, Lincoln) being manipulated and turned into DINOs. They know that if they move too far left they are history. Well, if Brown wins (hopefully not), why can't the vast majority of voters in Mass. (being Dems) make him into a RINO right quick? Show him why he was elected and make it clear that if he doesn't buck the Republicant line he will be out in two short years! Oh yes, it can be done. He will revel in his position and do anything to keep it....even vote for Progressive policies. A Brown win could produce a RINO and get freepers heads a poppin'. File this strategy away. If Progressives don't show up at the polls they can show up in Brown's ear right after his acceptance speech. Think about it. Progressives as puppet Masters. Cool.

1. Because the RRRNC will snap him right back into shape by
controlling his financial support.

You think a toady like Brown isn't in it for the career he couldn't get anywhere else? Think again, He's going to spnd the rest of his sorry life getting re-elected. It's all he's got.

3. He wouldn't need Repub funding if he was controlled from the left and had
clear vote superiority. Funding is great but hard evidence of actual votes should trump it. All the Dem funding in the world couldn't make Blanche Lincoln a strong Liberal in Arkansas, imo.

2. Like Voters did to Arnold in California
With California now having the "Highest Sales Tax Rate" in the country, completely Bankrupted, and losing Jobs at an alarming rate, I don't think that has worked out so well - even if we did hand him his ass on the proposition initiative ballot he conducted

4. I doubt that was the plan. It could have been done. It could have worked, even with
him.

8. Oh it worked alright - The State is the biggest Joke in the Union
and easy pickens for RATpubliCON hopefuls

Prediction - Diane's seat is filled by a RATpubliCON

Pelosie - will face a serious challenge if not dethroned all together

The state of California is in a shambles and no one is saying any thing about the negligent handling of the State by GOP-lite Arnold De Gropeinator

5. He'll be running for a national office in two years anyway
Republicans always quit on Mass after they get elected...they only run here for political brownie points for their national ambitions.

6. It doesn't work that way
Once that man gets into the Senate, his repulsive positions, in line with those of his repulsive party, will be set into stone. Senators get re elected time after time on name recognition alone and men like Brown are keenly aware of that fact.

They don't give a shit what the majority of the people back home think any more than the average conservative Democrat does.

7. Well if their minds work like ours... maybe
But I don't think so, they stick with what got them there, misleading deceptive "policies", undoing care established by law, cheaply gotten gains by any means. Same old S#@it.

10. Wishful thinking
Any leverage that could be wheedled would be completely drowned out by the incessant "Dems need to move to the right" drumbeat.

11. If they are so stupid as to still think that, do we want them as leaders anyway?
The problem is that the People have had no seat at the table where policy is being formulated. If the People continue to be discounted in politics, we are no longer a democratic country.

13. Brown doesn't listen to Progressives...He listens to Grover Norquist...
He will listen to the Republican Party that wants to shut down Health Care, leave the Banking industry unregulated, and let global warming go unchecked.

You will never get anything progressive from him.
