If he hadn't been so naive in 2000, and neither had we been, this future wouldn't be occurring. And I'm a big Al Gore supporter, but he, and we, just were not ready for that kind of power grab. That US Supreme Court decision was a first in the history of the country, and it was the day my political innocence fell away.
