1. They will, just not what you think they will.
This will prompt congressional Democrats to legislate further to the right.

3. I doubt it..
... but come the midterms they will have to take notice. And if you think this was disappointing, just wait.

5. Sure. They already learned to run a ho-hum candidate with some problems and lose
Now they can say to the Liberal wing: OK, see, that's proof that the VOTERS want us to move further right.

They created the situation they could use to push their agenda. Reminds me of some DICK or other for some reason.

6. Depends
On who you are talking about. Now the republicans have learned that democrats aren't able to do anything with the majority they "had", and now the republicans will be able to stop everything they don't like, because they know the democrats are going to fight back!

The democrats who are in the pockets of big corporations, like the health care industry, have learned they are "STILL" going to be getting paid by those corporations to "VOTE" for any other bills that come up benefiting those "CORPORATIONS" that now know they can beat anything that the democrats come up with for the next few years!

Now the people who really want change know it's going to be even harder to get that change.

Will anybody change? Who knows!
