Well I'm pissed. But at least we can ditch the illusion of a "filibuster proof majority".
The concept that we need 60 to do anything seemed like it was a damaging one. The one glass of lemonade that can come out of this lemon is that the part as a whole will be forced to confront itself and the obstructionist GOP if it wants to get anything done. Actually twist arms on the Dem side, and/or address the filibuster rules if the GOP insists on continuing to abuse the filibuster as I fully expect they will.
