I'm finally kicking back and have a nice Absolute Pears and diet root beer (tastes much better then it sounds).
I intended to go vote early this morning but I got a chance to make a few bucks helping with some snow removal, so I did that first. I then made it to the local polling place and cast my vote. I came home and made an "I voted" post and went to shovel my own drive way. When I came back in someone (I forget who... maybe NJmaverick...) had replied to my thread with a link to another about getting people rides to vote. So I talked to someone... no idea who they were and was able to get one person out to vote and back home. My car is a two seater so that was all I had time for before the polls closed but I got it done. We decided to try the Domino's special they have been advertising, 2 2 topping pizza's for 5.99 each... Domino's is still shit pizza, if you were thinking about it, don't bother. I just heard a few minutes ago that Coakley conceded... sucks.
Tomorrow when I get up, I'll spend a few hours looking for a job as I have been doing for the last year and a half. Then I'm going to see how I can get involved to help the November elections. Then I'll be writing weekly notes to my elected officials and tell them what I think they are doing wrong and what they should be doing.
You should write them as well. Be polite, be firm.
