Attempts at BIPARTISANSHIP with Unified Opposition Republicans DO NOT WORK...
Just as Harry Reid stated that Olympia Snow just 'wasted our time', the same can be said of Republicans President Obama has reached out to in the spirit of Bipartisanship. They have intentionally 'wasted our time' and there is no more precious commodity when it comes to bringing about real reform.

Republicans remain unified in opposition to anything Democrats might propose to bring about true reform.

So do whatever it takes to bring about the 'change we can believe in' and let the Republicans squeal. Otherwise, Democrats will be defined as impotent in 2010 and 2012, and voters who had such high hopes will likely stay home and not vote since they believed this was their best chance to get real change and it did not happen.

4. Exactly--how hard is this to understand?
You can't work in a bipartisan fashion with a party whose only goal is to see your administration fail.

Democrats make the false assumption that the Republicans in congress also want government to do its job. Simply not true. Republicans in congress want government to make money for them and their friend.

6. I'll repeat this...
You cannot play fair with the current Republican Party.
So don't play with them.

"So do whatever it takes to bring about the 'change we can believe in' and let the Republicans squeal."
Sounds like a good motto to me!

8. I'm convinced there is only one way to convince Repubs to act responsibly...
Beat them at the ballot box! Then beat them again.... and again.... and again.

Once they realize they will never win another election by being a unified opposition party that votes NO on everything, they will change, begrudgingly... but they will change in order to survive.

So how do we beat them? We don't become more conservative to be like them.

We bring about change, and in many cases radical change as far as those who have owned our government and raided the Taxpayers' money as if it were their private piggy banks.

Time is now short... and anyone within the Obama Administration who is not up to it, let them bow out. Otherwise, this is going to be a short stay in Washington for many, many Democrats.
