For all you people who don't understand how Bush governed with impunity with a 2 vote margin
while we CAN'T with a 9 vote margin the answer is simply that we don't really have 9 "Democrats" of margin, we have a bunch of DINO DLC'er blue dog corporatists who pretend to be Democrats but stab us in the back a lot:

Evan Bayh, Tom Carper, Blanche Lincoln, Mary Landrieu, Ben Nelson, Bill Nelson, Tom Bacchus, Joe Lieberman (I), et.al. there are about 15 of them.

The truth is we never had 50 at best we had 45 and now we have 44.

THAT is why Bush could pass things because he got those Blue Dog DINOS to vote his way while those same DINOS oppose Obama at just about every turn.

The only solution is to realize that these DLC'ers have to go - they have to be primaried because they aren't really on our side. As long as we continue to pad our numbers with untrustworthy disloyal people, we'll never be able to pass any agenda but we'll get blamed for not doing so by a public that thinks we have the numbers to do so.

It would be better for the public to understand the truth and have these DLC'ers be the Republicans in name that they are at voting time so that we could point the blame where it belongs and stop trying to water down bills and make nice with people who are simply out to screw us and serve their corporate masters.

1. Bush had Rinos as well. Difference is that Texans know how to get things done.
Sadly, it has been the wrong things for so many years now.

3. No he did not..
Arlen Spector backed Bush 100% of the time. He would make noises about legalities, and then propose retroactive legislation to cover Bush's ass legal-wise. That is not a RINO. And today he calls himself a Democrat, for crying out loud.

Republicans backed their President. Blue dogs aided and abetted. period.

2. Hey, I will do my part to rid the world of Lieberman's nonsense.
