The mindset of a conservative low-information voter |
|
So I asked my very-Repuke dad... why was Bush able to pass legislation with less than 60 Republican senators and it was ok, but if Obama and the Dems do it - they are usurping the will of the people?
His answer:
"Because Bush was only proposing legislation that had broad bipartisan support and the support of the American people."
No shit. That was his answer.
That's what 2 decades of Rush Limbaugh and 1 decade of Sean Hannity and Glen Beck have created.
That's the mindset that we're up against.

1. You're talking about one conservative low-information voter. |
|
How many of them do you really think there are? Don't say something stupid like, "Duh, all of them." If you say that, then you become one of the low-information voters because you'll be underestimating the opponent.

2. Not all of them... but a sizeable chunk. |

Listen to the callers on Hannity's show.
That's how they think.
