The rot starts with government, but it afflicts the entire society. There's no point investing in a business because the government will not protect you against thieves.

1. woo hoo....I've got negative numbers.
So somebody thinks continuing to bail out banks, letting them get massive bonuses without holding them accountable is a good thing? Makes me want to run right out and support the mega banks....

...it will be interesting to see how the bagger's mind control will make them forget all about the financial reforms we need in time to support a filibuster against them.

4. i agree. reason mag is libertarian, but a good read
personally, it's a must read imo. the nation, reason, and national review.

i like a diversity of opinion

6. My logic is: A diamond in a pile of shit is still a diamond.
I have the intellectual capacity to "wipe the shit off" and separate the good from the detritus.
