"Democrats Are Disillusioned And Disenchanted" - Rinse, Repeat x1000
Edited on Tue Jan-19-10 11:43 PM by TomCADem
It is really odd. Even in 2004, I really never saw any reference to Republicans being disillusioned and disenchanted. Heck, even with John McCain, Sarah Palin-mania quickly overtook any suggestion that conservatives might have second thoughts about John McCain. Yet, I was hearing the "disillusioned and disenchanted" meme even before President Obama took office, as everyone referenced the impossibly high expectations being placed on President Obama.

Fox News, which is so concerned about the plight of liberals as you know, :sarcasm: regularly features liberals who are disillusioned and disenchanted, and of course, the major networks have to repeat this theme.

So, remember, you are disillusioned and disenchanted. Stay home. Surrender and comply. (Repeat).

The odd thing is that I am not disillusioned and disenchanted. I never believed in get rich schemes, and I don't believe that revolutionary change takes place overnight. Maybe it just makes me abnormal, since the TV keeps on telling me I should feel otherwise.

2. You are so right
when have republicans ever gone on about being disappointed and disillusioned and disenchanted and threatened to stay home and let the Democrats win?

3. Yeah, I Just Don't Recall Republicans Threatening To Let Democrats Win...
...ever taking hold as a mainstream media meme. Even when they got their clocks cleaned in 2008, the meme was that Democrats would suffer in the 2010 midterms.
