Irrefutable proof that conservatives are dumber than liberals...Scientists reject conservatism...

Only 6% of scientists identify as Republicans and only 9% identify as conservatives. Oddly, I had expected the number of Republicans to exceed the number of conservatives.

It's interesting to note that scientists are more likely to trust government programs, more likely to believe that government should help those who can't help themselves, and more suspicious of business than the general public.
