The work begins anew, the hope rises again, and the dream lives on.’’
With those words in his concession speech, Senator Kennedy began a wonderful senate career that created major Progressive legislation.

I suggest we do likewise. This is the end of trusting politicians to do our bidding and the beginning of a new life filled with achievements that we can leave to our grandchildren.

So, Progressives, I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship.

1. If he were here today, he would say that...
but, with him gone, it is hard not to grieve for him anew, knowing how much we let him down... He and his family made so many sacrifices in their lives for the American people and with his death, we owed him far more... We HAVE to make this right. We HAVE to.
