The Haitians need food, water and shelter, not your solar powered bibles. :puke:

1. I just saw that too
My Lord. Kyra Phillips so excited about the solar powered bibles that are being delivered to the Haitians.

They need food, water and medical attention, Kyra!

2. These facting RW fundie hacks
sicken my stomach under the best of circumstances, but with this earthquake and that Senate seat last night, today is not a good day to annoy me.

4. Solar Powered Bibles?
Edited on Wed Jan-20-10 09:01 AM by Ian David
Do they include a port for charging cellphones and radios? Or to purify drinking water?

If so, then I'm in favor of it.

Otherwise, let's send them instructions on how to dismantle the solar powers from the bibles to do something useful.

From what I'm seeing on the web, the stupid things cost $99 each.

U.S. group sends solar-powered Bibles to Haiti

8. Solar poweredBibles? I'm a christian, and the last thing I'd offer a
starving, dehydrated, suffering earthquake victim is a Bible, much less a solar-powered one.

third time I heard about it.

13. Ones that 300 people can hear, and they glow in the dark
And it would be in Creole. Talk about things that should be denied landing at the Haiti airport. Bring in the doctors and supplies, the bibles are for later.

14. Hey, that's what you get for watching Television.
I mean, what did you expect?
Something intelligent?
It's fucking MSM television!
It's DESIGNED to piss you off.
That is its purpose!

21. This is worse than TV
This is about a solar powered bible for earthquake victims who have little food and water and no shelter - seriously fugged up priorities.

This looks like a contender for the Top Ten Conservative Idiots list next week.

It's times like this that I'm glad that we only have (very) basic cable.
ABC, CBS & NBC are hard enough to stomach, but seeing something like what CNN is doing might put me over the edge.
