This is one thing I've been hearing in Massachusetts this morning that has me just plain fucking stunned. Brown was selected to fix the economy, people are saying. He was chosen to stop the bailout and the giveaways and get the economy back on track.
It's talk like this that really has me convinced that there is some sort of mind-altering ray being aimed at the population that causes long-term memory loss, hallucinations and the inability to deal with or process complex information. And somehow a few people such as myself and you, dear readers, are immune to this (personally, I believe that "ray" is just talk radio bullshit from the likes of Jay Severin, Michael Graham and the other turds polluting the radio waves in Masschusetts).
People, Brown's party CAUSED THE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS WE FACE TODAY.
Brown's party OPPOSED ANY AND ALL REGULATION OF THE WALL STREET FAT CATS WHO FUCKED US.
Brown's party RAMMED THROUGH THE TAX CUTS FOR THE WEALTHY WHICH HAS NOW NEARLY BANKRUPTED THE COUNTRY.
Brown's party SLASHED THE SOCIAL PROGRAMS WHICH HAVE RESULTED IN A CRUMBLING NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE AND SUBSTANDARD EDUCATION FOR OUR KIDS.
Brown's party IS STILL AGAINST ANY SORT OF POLICY NO MATTER HOW SMALL WHICH WILL HELP THE PEOPLE AND REDUCE THE MONEY FLOWING TOWARDS THE WEALTHY.
Jesus, it's not rocket science. What scares me more than the Brown victory is the absolute delusional outlook of some of Brown's supporters who think he has such good ideas. Those same fucking ideas (protect the wealthy, start wars around the Globe, rail against anything that might impede big business destruction, deny global warming) are the cause of the problems this country faces.
There is a fire burning in this country that threatens to extinguish every hope we have the future, that our kids might inherit a sane country with a healthy economy and reasonable leaders who make decisions based on logic and facts. And Brown supporters actually think pouring gasoline on the fire is the way to put it out.
Incredible. Educated adults in my state who think the way to stop crime is electing criminals, so to speak. And their actions are justified as being "good ideas."
