Yes, a few of them are all but worthless. But we still have a majority in the Senate, and that means they can still do some great things if they just suck it up and get to work.

And we still have an opportunity later on in November to send more Democrats to the Senate, which I think is of paramount importance at this point. The key is to send the right Democrats to Capitol Hill, and that's what the primaries are for.

4. He's right - Reid should work WITH Obama, not FOR him
At the same time, however, Reid should not work for health insurance companies, either - especially the ones who want to deny Americans the coverage they deserve.

5. Haven't you been paying attention for the last year?
Republicans will not allow a single thing to go forward, unless it is more war funding.. Democrats are dead in the water....Now everything has to be about electing new Democrats.. We still have the most powerful message. We need to start thinking about Primaries. People are not necessarily against Democrats, just the current batch that are more Republican lite than true Democrats. America wants a change from what has been going on for the last decade or so. Republicans do not offer that. All Republicans offer is an attempt to remain the same... Democrats better figure this out or they will be getting new jobs..

7. Well, duh
But we don't need Republicans in order to move anything forward. We've had since 1994 to figure out how to move things forward once we retook the Senate, and now that we've had the majority since 2007, it's time we acted like it.
