Stop trying to analyze why Brown won. He didn't. I remember everyone analyzing why Gore lost, why Kerry lost, why proop 8 "won" in California. It is plain and simple in your face election fraud. WAKE UP! "What we are doing wrong" is not counting our votes. Bush appointeesw are still in charge of the EAC, which oversees our elections.

According to preliminary media results by municipality, Democrat Martha Coakley won Massachusetts overall in its hand counted locations,* with 51.12% of the vote (32,247 hand counted votes) to Brown's 30,136, which garnered him 47.77% of hand counted votes. Margin: 3.35% lead for Coakley.

Massachusetts has 71 hand count locations, 91 ES&S locations, and 187 Diebold locations, with two I call the mystery municipalities (Northbridge and Milton) apparently using optical scanners, not sure what kind.

Most of those towns are in western mass- where coakley comes from. many are from the berkshires (she's from N. Adams) Coakley won that area period- however the votes were counted. It's the most sparsely populated part of the state.

...the prudent thing to do. Since Obama won, the outright dismissal of voting system problems by so many Dems is scary. SCARY.

It doesn't always have to be fraud, although fraud is always possible. These machines are so lousy, they can simply break down and fail. Happens often.

Voting machines need to be watched and results audited. Where there are paper ballots, audits can be done. There was paper in MN and paper yesterday in MA.

Sadly millions of us STILL have no voter-verified paper ballot after all these years, and many on here don't care or worry about it.

And THAT, I believe, would break my friend Andy's heart more than Bev Harris ever did.

Who's to say that the count in the Dem primary for this race wasn't tampered with? Point is, there's no way of knowing w/o at the very least rigorous audits, or even better, a complete handcount on the spot that night.
