Obama can not force people to vote the way he wants them to and punishing him for that will not help the country at all. You have seen what bushes administration has done to this country yet so many are so eager to return to it because in one year Obama hasnt been able to get everything they want through congress. a certain way and I don't see anyone saying he can. What he can do is not reward bad behavior (Lieberman), what he can do is throw down a gauntlet (veto threat), what he can do is not be seen as a tool of the insurance and pharma companies (not to mention the bankers but that's another story). He has done nothing for the left and kissed the ass of those who simply don't want him to succeed. I admire his trying for bi-partisanship - now that he sees that is IMPOSSIBLE he should do what he thinks is right and let his administration fall or rise on those terms because right now he's failing on the pukes terms and allowing them to move the agenda.
