Brown cannot get re-elected in Massachusetts. Once people realize he's done nothing but say "no," they'll look to replace him with someone capable of actually doing something. And once our party leadership realizes that charisma wins elections, we'll pick a stronger candidate who can defeat him.

Brown probably realizes he can't get a second term. My hunch is he's vying to be Palin's running mate. Come 2013, he'll never be heard from again.
