Sometimes you have to rise above the fray,
Edited on Wed Jan-20-10 02:25 PM by Chisox08
but sometimes you also have to jump right in.
The Republicans last year has stated that their goal was to break Obama. They wanted to see him fail. the said that the HCR would be his Waterloo. Do any of you really think that the Republicans were kidding about any of that?
The Democrats in Congress tried to reach out to the Republicans over and over again last year, giving in to most of their demands. Only to have absolutely no Republican support. From their own statements we knew that they were closing ranks and were going to oppose anything that the Democrats had to offer.
This reaching out to the Republicans was doomed to fail from the beginning. I say no more trying to reach out to them, kick Joe Lieberman and Rahm Emanuel to the curb and stop trying to be kinder gentler Republicans. Give a big Fuck you to the Republicans and change the Senate rules so that real HCR can be passed.

6. See above. It's also spelled Freyr, but it's Frey in English.
Wikipedia has an article on Freyr.
