Obama asked us to keep his feet to the fire
To make him do what is right. Well a warning shot has just been fired. This is the ONLY way we, as lowly voters, have of doing what he asks. While we may not vote Republican, we don't need to vote at all to send the message. Either live up to the Promises or expect Change to occur..America is Demanding Change and keeping the same old tired policies of the Bush* Administration is not Change......Want my vote, Earn It

1. I only hope the message has been heard--loud and clear--by Obama.
He cannot afford many more missteps. He seriously needs to get his shit together, and stop trying to be bipartisan. It's destroying what all Democrats worked so hard to gain.

3. Well then Mr President
Listen and understand. The Republicans (and blue dog assholes) are out there. They can't be bargained with. They can't be reasoned with. They don't feel pity or remorse or fear. And they absolutely will not stop - ever! Until they have finished destroying every last trace of decency, equality and democracy in this country.

Got it

stop trying to play nice with them, it doesn't work!! :grr:

4. Keep His Feet to the Fire, BUT....
....NOT THROW HIS WHOLE BODY INTO IT! That, and everything we progressives have fought so hard for the past 30 years. Progressives are mad because "change" isn't happening fast enough??? ROME WASN'T BUILT IN A DAY, FOLKS!!! That stupid line of thinking has handed the tea-baggers, the Palinites, and the Hannitys of America a glorious victory. Good job, guys.

5. A year is not a day
We want a clean break from the Bush*/Cheney administration and the Republican lackeys that have demoralized and ravished America. We do not want the same policies to not only be continued but expanded upon..We want accountability for crimes and war crimes committed by the previous Administration. The world court has found the previous Administration guilty of war crimes and Cheney goes on National TV and says Democrats are making America weaker by not torturing people. Not a single Democrat stood up and condemned outright such a suggestion. I want Democrats to be against torture with every fiber of their being but they think if they ignore it, it will go away..I do not want such an extremely offensive policy to be ignored..

6. I have a feeling that some people would still be screaming that
Rome wasn't built in a day even if Obama was in his 7th year in office.

It is all about excuses. Nothing can ever be his fault.

7. There is a difference between keep feet to the fire..and setting someone on fire..
And if you call that debacle in Mass a warning shot.. then you just shot yourself in the foot.
