We can never be complacent

Even in places like San Francisco and Boston, there is always the possibility that the GOP will pull the rug out from under us.

If you are offered a choice between a liberal Democrat and a conservative Republican, even if the Democrat ran a poor campaign and isn't ideal, would you let the Republican win?

Or, more realistically, if you were offered the choice between Gore and Bush, or Kerry and Bush, would you stay home because, "they both suck?"

This also goes for the Democratic politicians as well. The politicians should never take the voters for granted. That seems to be what happened in MA yesterday.
