It is a difficult economic environment. Lanny's current law firm, McDermott Will & Emery, has seen revenue drop below $1 Billion. Less than $1 Billion! Imagine! The average partner there makes only a shade above $1.5 million. New clients must be found and old ones satisfied. New business is required so profits can be made.

Of course, most of the 31 million uninsured Lanny mourns will have to buy their own insurance from . . . you guessed it . . . McDermott Will's clients!

McDermott Will represents Cigna, Aetna, Liberty Mutual, Prudential and most other large insurance companies. What a surprise!

So when criticizing Ole Lanny have some sympathy. :sarcasm:
