Mitch McConnell & John Boehner....
...just listen to them gloating on MSNBC!!

Thank you so much again, Massachusetts. To those of you who expect the Democrats to suddenly turn left....get the joint out of your mouth!! The Democrats are about to move so far to the right you won't believe it! Progressivism is DEAD in America. Did liberal extremists learn NOTHING from what voting for Ralph Nader did to this country??

"If I can't have the whole pie, I won't have any at all!"

Well, you got it...you have NOTHING now. :grr:

1. Yeah, progress really sucks!
BTW, Gore actually won Florida. Nader had nothing to do with the chimp being appointed by the U.S. Supreme W. Court.

You forgot to mention my pony. What's up with that?

2. OMG....
....Nader got over 97,000 votes in Florida back in 2000. Bush "won" by 537 votes. If just 10 percent of Nader's voters had done the right thing and backed Gore, Jeb Bush and Katherine Harris would NOT HAVE HAD A CHANCE TO STEAL THE ELECTION, DAMMIT!!!! Get your head out of the sand!

3. You should take your own advice and face the facts...
Gore won the election. There was widespread fraud that destroyed votes for Gore. There was a propaganda campaign by Rove et al. that swayed perceptions and allowed them to steamroll the process and run to the friendly five of the Supreme Court. None of that was Nader's fault or the fault of the people who voted their preference. (Iwas not a Nader supporter.)

6. I actually voted for Nader, but only because I live in a "safe" state.
In my opinion, our two party, winner takes all, system of government is destroying our country, especially since both parties are obviously owned by the corporations.

Our present system is best described as fascism. It's that simple.

Oh BTW...we're fucked! :banghead:

7. Not of that $hit you mentioned....
....could have had a CHANCE to happen if the 97,000+ Nader voters in Florida had voted for Al Gore. The media's 7:20pm projection that Gore had won Florida would have held true and there would have been no post-election litigation which would have ended up at the Supreme Court.

Go on, turn FAR LEFT....hell, why not propose unilateral nuclear disarmament, the creation of a Department of Peace, and allow both men AND women to participate together in professional team sports? Let's open our boarders to any grant automatic citizenship to every foreigner who wants to come here who can't speak a word of English, has no vocational skills (other than flipping burgers), and has ties to al-Queda.

Go ahead, run as far to the left as you want....and watch yourselves get rammed, bammed, and slammed at the voting booth every election day.

9. You must be a member of the DLC with that attitude...
And you are using the same techniques of argument that are favored by such noted bloviators as Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

10. DLC; Issues
Yes, actually I am a member of the DLC, and in case you've forgotten, Bill Clinton was once the CHAIRMAN of that organization which was created to modernize and revitalize our party after the Mondale-Ferraro debacle in the mid-80's.

If you believe those issues I mentioned are not important to the average American voter than I'm afraid you just don't get it. And the Democratic Party will continue to drift the way of the Whigs...to extinction.

5. They should gloat, their strategy has proved successful but that doesn't make it or them correct.
Democrats better be prepared for more of the same. They want to crap in their own bed then they have to learn to live with the stink..When you make promises you should keep them. They promised Change and then keep on with business as usual.. Change is going to happen with or without them. They best figure that out sooner rather than later. It isn't about left being the problem. It is about the establishment being the problem and the Left just mentions they would like the Change that was Promised.

8. I pass
I'm not watching them. Between the earthquake and the election I'm exhausted and can't watch ReTHUGS gloating...not on the anniversary of the inauguration.
